Project Overview

Lorenzo is a cornerstone clinical management software deployed across NHS hospitals in the United Kingdom. The Lorenzo Browser Modernization (LBM) initiative transformed legacy Silverlight clinical user interfaces into high-speed, modern Angular web modules adhering to strict NHS usability, accessibility, and security guidelines.

The Problem

Legacy Silverlight plugins faced deprecation across modern web browsers, creating urgent clinical operational risks. NHS staff required web-standard browser compatibility without disrupting critical patient care workflows, bed management, or emergency hospital operations.

The Solution

Engineered a modern web architecture decoupling legacy client code into modular Angular v18 and Kendo UI components powered by high-performance C# / .NET RESTful API micro-services and optimized SQL databases.
